Where did he go?

Just an update of where every one is at the moment.  Nick is back in Moscow after working with our bro’s at Bozeman’s Tattoo Alley in Montana this May. Jeremy is tattooing in Moscow while visiting his kids for a bit longer. Justin is Tattooing with Ryan at the shop in Ventura. Matt and Shaun are doing business as usual in Moscow.

The Ventura shop will be hosting a few diffrent guest artists this spring.  Check back here or call the shop to see who!

Happy Birthday Falling Moon!!!

On May 5th 1992 Jeremy Hogan, as Falling Moon Tattoo Studio opened its doors for business as the first tattoo studio on the Palouse.  Now in its third location at 610 South Main in Moscow, and with its first expansion open in Ventura California I would like to wish my best to everyone who has helped make the past 20 years at Falling Moon a wonderful and memorable experience. Thank you!! I would also like to thank all of our patrons over the years for helping to make our dream become a reality. We could not have done it with out  you!

Enjoy whatever summer brings your way, and if those memories are worthy of immortalization, remember us and we can help you to remember them, always!

Flowers, Flowers, Flowers!

As the title of the post says here are a couple of  flower tattoos that Nick Nesbitt did in the last few weeks. The Rose and the lilly were done in 2 sessions. But the orchids were all done in one session. The orchids were also a rework of a rework. So some vine work was added to complement and tie in the whole piece.

The beginning to an ocean based leg sleeve

This is a  large tattoo that Nick Nesbitt in Moscow started today. This is the beginning of a lower leg sleeve with various other types of  aquatic life and coral. Here are a few photos, both the black and grey and the finished color piece. This session took just about 2 1/2 hours which is just a part of the total amount of time that is going to be put into this piece.

Zombie Couple

Nick Nesbitt did these two tattoos that came in Saturday evening at Tattoos and Blues. These two local Santa Rosa clients wanted a nice loving couple tattoo, but with a little zombie flare added to it. They decided to just do the black and grey work this time and will meet up at next year’s Tattoos and Blues to finish it off with some nice rotten greens, blues and reds to each piece.

Noses For Fun!

These two young ladies definitely have a nose for fun! Thier bright and shiny new septum piercings match thier personalities. I had fun with them while doing the septum piercings they wanted. Thanks girls!

Center Stage

Both Falling Moon tattoo shops are having artists attending the 21^st annual Tattoos and Blues tattoo convention at the Flamingo Hotel on  2777 Fourth Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95405. Jeremy Hogan,  Ryan Schienle From Falling Moon Ventura in CA, and Nick Nesbitt from Moscow, ID’s Falling Moon Tattoo Studio. We are on the stage in the main conference hall.  Swing on by and get a tattoo, wind down once you’re finished in the hotel’s lounge listening to some g­reat blues music and have a cocktail.

 

Industrial Conche Cartilage Lobe Piercings

This image shows four diffrent piercings, the Industrial, Conche, Cartilege, and Lobe piercings. The combination of piercings is a great way to make your look unique. Multiple piercings can be done at the same time and is common with ear lobe and cartilege piercings. Piercings like the Industrial and Conche are more often done seperately, as they may lake longer to heal. Tattoos and Blues: Days and Hours

So this weekend Jeremy Hogan, Nick Nesbitt and Ryan Schienle are going to be at the 21st Annual Tattoo’s and Blues at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa CA. The two artists will be on the stage in the hotel’s main conference room. We will be updating the site once a day or so.

The Convention hours are:

Friday:12pm to 11am

Saturday, Sunday:11am to 11am

The price to get in is 20$ for a day pass and 35$ for a weekend pass.
